1969 Chevrolet Biscayne

This is a ONE OWNER car purchased in Madison, WI. Have Protecto Plate and copy of original title.

This is how the car looked originally when I purchased it with a stock 396 and 2 barrel. THIS IS A FANTASTIC CAR. Scroll down below and you will see how I cloned it into a L72 427 of which in 1969 only 546 full sized cars were ordered with the L72. We kept the original 50k mile 396 and its now on an engine stand and will go with the car if we ever decide to sell her. The replacement engine is a 454 30 over with J&E pistons doing 10:1 and aluminum heads. Engine work by Scott at Lee Auto in Waukegan, IL.

AND NOW..The REBIRTH!

Below pictures are the car today. Hood was replaced with stock factory hood, stock painted wheels and Copo hub caps. The cloned L72 is actually a 454 30 over with J&E 10:1 pistons, aluminum big valve/port heads, internally balanced, with a .542 lift cam and roller rockers, extra capacity 9 QT oil pan and the TH400 is now equipped with a shift kit and 2800-3200 stall converter. Need to install Hotchkis suspension and a 308 posi.

All the engines I build for these cars are tested and cams broken in.

Below is the 396 that was in her with newly ceramic coated stock exhaust. This goes with the car if I ever sell it.

Stock TH400 that came with car. Installed B&M shift kit and 2800-3200 stahl.
